My name is Kristi Sweeney and I have a degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University. I am also a licensed Library Media Specialist. This year is my 13th year in education, and my second year at Grand Prairie.
I was raised on a beef cattle operation in Southern Indiana and grew up active in 4-H, FFA, and many organizations throughout my community. My husband, Anthony, and I married in 2007, and moved to this area in 2018. We are excited to make Southern Illinois our new home. We have two little boys. Anderson is a spunky, rodeo cowboy, and Beau is a sweet, snuggly baby. In our spare time we like to travel, volunteer, spend time with our dogs and on my family’s farm, and we are very active in our church. I love to read, and I am also a writer and speaker for women's events.
